I was particular taken with "the truth is the truth and a lie is a lie" although it is distincly not
in the spirit of Zen which sees things on a continuum of relatives and not as absolutes. I am no
expert on Zen (or on "folk art") but Mr. Light and his self-created environment made a deep and
lasting impression on me. Like a god who creates a world, Mr. Light has created his world. And it
is a world with such a public face, right out in front of his house (and "on" the front of his
house) for all to see.
